This CAT 793 rear wheel spindle was sent to us for remanufacturing of both bearing journal fits after experiencing excessive wear from a prior repair that utilized a softer weld wire not suited for the load conditions of this class of truck. The journals wore prematurely and fell out of specification under service.

Our weld overlay process restored the spindle back to specification, rebuilding the bearing journals to the required size and hardness with a controlled, metallurgically bonded deposit engineered for high-load applications. The result is a more wear-resistant, load-tolerant repair capable of supporting long-term service in severe duty conditions.
