HVOF Coating Removal, Weld Overlay, Hard Chrome Plating

This is 9" rear suspension rod from a CAT 777 haul truck arrived at our facility with a heavily worn HVOF coating. We performed a Weld Overlay using a specialized submerged arc welding process and then added a hard chrome layer. For components like this one, this is the most cost-effective solution on the market.
