Founded in 1988, High Tech Chrome Plating, Inc. began as a hard chrome plating shop with in-house grinding and welding, designed to service the coal mines in Western Kentucky. From day one, our focus has been on restoring industrial components to OEM or better condition through precision, craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of wear.

Over the decades, we’ve expanded both our capabilities and our vision, and now service partners around the globe:

  • In 2012, we added a 20,000 sq ft facility to increase machining capacity and scale our plating operations.
  • In 2023, we launched our HVAF thermal spray division, offering next-generation carbide coatings for extreme wear applications.
  • In 2024, we introduced robotic welding systems, purpose-designed in-house for high-throughput, repeat part overlays with engineered precision.
  • In 2025, we rebranded as High Tech Reman—a name that reflects our identity as a leader in full-scope remanufacturing and surface technologies.

Today, we operate under the brand High Tech Reman, a DBA of High Tech Chrome Plating, Inc. Our team remanufactures thousands of components each year—hydraulic rods, industrial rollers, pins, spindles, and more—serving the mining, construction, manufacturing, and heavy equipment sectors across North America.
